Garden of Angels
Carrie Culberson's Online Vigil

Who can say for certain, maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me, your memory's so clear.
Deep in the stillness I can hear you speak.
You are still an inspiration.  Can it be?
That you are forever an angel and you're watching over me from above?
Fly me up to where you are beyond the distant star.
I wish upon tonight to see you smile.  If only for awhile to know you're there, a
breath away is not far to where you are.
Are you gently sleeping here inside my dreams? And is it faith believing all power
can be seen? As my heart holds you just one beat away, I cherish all you gave me
every day.
Cause you are forever my angel watching me from above, and I believe that
angels grieve and that love will live on and never leave.
Fly me up to where you are – beyond the distant star. I wish upon tonight to see
you smile.  If only for a while to know you’re there.  A breath away is not far to
where you are.  I know you’re there.  A breath away is not that far to where you
The truth is out there..
But covered up,
And with God's help...
Will rise above.

Debbie, Roger, and Christina,
You are not alone
An army of angels
Will bring Carrie home.

And by God's grace
With prayers and Faith,
Justic for Carrie
Will find it's way

Our thoughts and Prayers are with you

An empy doorway, a single tear, a rainy day
Wish you were here
I miss your silly laughter, ringing in the air
If only you knew, How much we really care,
Looking at the doorway, Dreaming you'll walk
Pretending that you hear me, Ignoring what
is true,
Staring at the doorway, I still you standing
But it's another lonely day, Without your love
to share
Glimpsing down the hall, Hearing your soft
Your name out loud I call,
Carrie, we love you without regrets
An empty doorway, A single tear,
A rainy day, wish you were here
Carrie has been missing for almost (9) years now.
I get many letters from people who express their concern and sympathy for the Culberson family,
mostly after a television program airs about her case. I've decided to replace the Words for Carrie
Section for the Online Vigil. If you'd like to submit a poem, or thought or angel, please email me @  I will try to post all requests. If you wish to remain anonymous,
please specify in your email message.
Some of the material for this vigil was obtained from a previous memorial held on the (1) one year
anniversary of Carrie's disappearance. Some authors are not visible to protect their privacy.
Here Without You
A hundred days have made me older
since the last time I saw your pretty
face. A thousand lies have made me
colder and I don’t think that I can
look at this the same. And all these
miles that separate, disappear now
when I’m dreaming of your face.
I’m here without you, but youâ
€™re still on my lonely mind. I think
about you and I dream about you all
the time. I’m here without you,
but you’re still with me in my

visited Carrie's mom in June of

could about Carrie.
Can You Hear Me
from: Gina from NY
Came over from SonofSusan.Com
for Carrie's family 5-11-04

Can you hear me? I am the sound of your heart beating. Can you feel
I am the touch of the warm ocean breeze. Can you see me? I am the
spring rain falling soft to the ground. Can you smell me? I am the rose
just outside your window. Can you find me? I am inside your heart and
soul. I am never far away. I am right around the corner in your mind. I
am not lost. I am not scared. I am not in pain. But I worry for you. I
worry you miss me to much. You do not have to miss me. I am always
you. When the wind blows and your face turns red, That is just me
kissing your cheek. When the rain falls and your hair is all wet, That is
just me cleansing your soul. When darkness falls and the stars are
in the sky, That is just me smiling at you. When your heart breaks from
pain and sorrow, I am quit to mend it for you. For when as much as you
miss me, How far away I seem, I am here for you. Do not cry for me.
Smile for me. I am happy, And I want you to be too. I love you.
